Meet our teachers
Every teacher at The Lotus Loft arrived here by way of their own journey. Their stories, their training, and the places they've travelled to find themselves are what make this studio what it is.
Kayla Rice
In 2022, I traveled solo to Peru to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training — and returned not only certified, but transformed. Immersed in the rituals of yoga, dance, breath, and community, I reconnected with a deeper part of myself. From that awakening, The Lotus Loft was born.
My mission is simple: to create a space where you can let go, breathe, and reconnect — with yourself and with others. Welcome home.
Book with Kayla
Jack Adams
Jack is the quiet force behind Kayla's vision — the steady ground beneath her fire. Where Kayla leads with intuition, expression, and outward energy, Jack holds the yin: calm, contained, unwavering. He doesn't need the spotlight to be powerful. His strength lives in presence, consistency, and deep belief in what's being built. You'll see him as a warm, familiar face throughout the week.
Visible throughout the week — come say hi.
Aman
As a passionate and intense seeker, Aman has been practicing meditative techniques and studying yogic history and philosophy for the past 15 years. Somatic breathwork is a modality that has served him deeply and continues to do so. He is honoured to facilitate for other souls and dive deeply inwards through the breath.

the steady ground beneath her fire. While he doesnt have his RYT yet - he hopes to in the future. For now you can see him as a friendly face in various classes throughout the week - although we think his favourite classes are the slow ones.

Hannah
Hi, I’m Han. My journey with yoga began six years ago while living in Toronto, where I quickly fell in love with the practice and its ability to ground and transform. In March 2025, I traveled to San Marcos on Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. My teaching style encourages slowing down, turning inward, and creating space to simply be — both on and off the mat. I’m honored to share this practice with you and look forward to connecting in class soon.
Han spends her mornings teaching at the loft, tuesday through to friday - come say hi!

Rebecca
With three years of teaching experience and a dancer’s relationship to movement, Rebecca is no stranger to using movement as medicine. Rebecca teaches from the principle of sthira sukham, balancing strength with ease, and her classes invite students to move with breath-led presence and to explore how each asana/posture feels rather than how it looks. Yoga has been her home to return to again and again, a constant that lives far beyond the mat. It has saved and empowered her in countless ways, and she is deeply honored to share a practice that has held her so fully. In addition to asana, Rebecca guides breathwork, meditation, women’s circles, sound journeys, and energy work. Forever a student herself, Rebecca is dedicated to growing in service of community and connection.
Baye
After finding yoga over 15 years ago, it has become my greatest teacher guiding me through motherhood, accident recovery, anxiety and the art of holding many roles with grace. I completed my teacher training at Sama Yoga House in Costa Rica in 2024 and my teaching style blends vinyasa, chakra alignment, breath and mindfulness with just the right amount of ✨woo✨. Expect embodied movement, subtle ritual and space to slow down, soften, and reconnect to your higher self.
